This McIntosh sport has very early colour development which is quite distinctive in areas where colour can be a challenge for other sports.

Harvest Criteria: Mid-season, harvest based on standard McIntosh starch chart.

Tree Description: Tree is hardy, vigorous and spreading.  Good spur development.

Bloom: Early bloom timing.

Production: Good production, same as standard Mac.

Advantage: Excellent colour development in all tested regions.

Disadvantage: Fruit can appear dark until bloom is shinned off the fruit. 

Storage: Medium, same as regular Mac.
